Since Annual festivities in the Seattle Scandinavian community were cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19 concerns, designer Madison Leiren made it her mission to find a way to bring unity to her community that was divided by social distancing and stay-at-home orders mandated for safety. Leiren knew one thing that always gave a sense of pride- the Norwegian Flag. It was a banner of hope, strength, unity, and community- threads that wove together individuals into a sense of family. Madison understood the power of a flag and wanted to bring this sense of unity to all in her community- Swedes, Danes, and Icelanders alike. Since starting with Scandinavian flags, NORSE has grown into an international business, creating banners of unity from around the world. We are keeping up on CDC recommendations for fabrications and are lining our masks for extra protection. Please understand that this mask is not a replacement for medical grade Personal Protective Equipment, and is not intended to replace other recommended measures to stop the community spread of COVID-19. Please continue to practice social distancing, washing your hands and refraining from touching your face. Tusen Takk!
